For the second concert in Four Nations Harvest Concerts, the musicians take you to the 18th and 17th century theater with works written for the stage by Telemann, Purcell, Handel and Couperin. Just as the movie palaces of the 20th century offered organ recitals and large scale musical presentations before a film, the audiences in Baroque Europe expected Music with their Moliere! Composers wrote the most delightful and brilliant music to embellish the stage.

It is with rational optimism but unfettered joy that we announce the return of Four Nations' festival this fall. We have missed our times together, times when we shared our passion for music and our affection for each other. The Ensemble's commitment and your loyalty seemed normal but we now realize that these qualities are exceptional and rich. In September we may still be masked and the buffet table needs to wait, but our delight in making music for you will be in full force.
